14k Victorian Taille d'Epargne Gold Bearing Quartz Ring

Description:  A Victorian 14k tested gold bearing quartz taille d’epargne conversion ring in yellow gold. Perhaps this beauty was previously a button or brooch, and converted into a ring in antiquity. There is some solder on the back of the ring, but not visible when worn. Taille d’epargne is a type of enameling where an opaque enamel fills an etched design. This is a wonderful example and in excellent condition.
